Others are characterized by absolute control. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Yesterday&#8217;s marathon in Luxembourg was more of the latter for Gregor Gretz.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">With a finishing time of <strong>2:57:13 hours<\/strong>, Gregor not only achieved his fifth marathon under three hours in a row &#8211; but also his strongest overall placing at international level to date.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">He took first place in the traditional Luxembourg Marathon:<\/p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><strong>30th<\/strong> place <strong>out of around 3,000 participants<\/strong> in his age group<\/li><li>and even <strong>3rd<\/strong> <strong>place<\/strong> <strong>among all German participants<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><br>And this despite the fact that the run was anything but &#8220;all-out&#8221;.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">After the intense past few months with several high-class marathon races, Gregor made a conscious decision to slow down a little on the second half of the course. The focus this time was not exclusively on the clock &#8211; but also on consciously experiencing the run, the atmosphere and the special backdrop of the city of Luxembourg. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">&#8220;I noticed that I had already put in a lot of hard kilometers this year. That&#8217;s why it was important this time to run in a controlled manner and to be able to enjoy the marathon. So I&#8217;m all the more pleased with the time under three hours and the placing. It shows me that the structured and data-based training is paying off in the long term.&#8221;<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">It is precisely this consistency that makes the development remarkable.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Five marathons in a row under the magical three-hour mark are no coincidence. They are the result of long-term training management, intelligent load dosing, consistent regeneration and precise analysis of physiological performance data. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Luxembourg Marathon was therefore not just another sporting success &#8211; but once again impressive proof of how crucial a structured, data-oriented training system can be for performance.<\/p><p>And the journey continues.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With a time of 2:57:13 hours, Gregor Gretz once again ran under the magic three-hour mark at the Luxembourg Marathon.
